Jimmy Fallon's 'Saturday Night Live' promos: Jingle all the way

Jimmy Fallon makes a return to "Saturday Night Live" this week, and if the teasers he does with Fred Armisen are any indication, it's going to be a very musical holiday episode.

Fallon, who left the cast in 2004 but has made cameos a few times since then, will take his first turn as host on Saturday (Dec. 17). Michael Bublé will be the musical guest -- provided, that is, that Fallon and Armisen let him take the stage.

The promo contains two musical bits: an earworm of a ditty that repeats the phrase "Christmas is coming" over and over, and a few minor-chord variations on "Jingle Bells." There's also talk of Santa Claus, and even a few tears.

"SNL" hasn't been entirely on its game this season, but the show tends to put its best foot forward for holiday episodes. We're hoping that, plus Fallon's return and the fact that Bublé is likely to be up for appearing in sketches as well (as with "Hamm & Bublé" from last year), makes for a strong episode to close out 2011.
