'Glee' gets a visit from Chewbacca ... no kidding!

You may recall cast members of "Glee" tweeting pictures of themselves with Chewbacca a while back. Well, now we know a bit more about the Wookie's visit to the set of the show.

According to an AOL TV interview with cast member Harry Shum Jr. who plays Mike Chiang, "[Chewbacca] makes an appearance into Artie's (Kevin McHale) dream in a way. I can't really delve into the details, but it's something to do with Artie."

"It was incredibly awesome," Shum said. "It was a huge surprise ... half of us came in right after he was done and it was like a mad house. Everyone's face was so happy. They were showing off their pictures."

Cast member Matthew Morrison recently appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" where he gave a little more info, saying that this is "a throwback and a tribute to 'The Star Wars Holiday Special' and the 'Judy Garland Christmas Special.'"

Even if you're not a Gleek, this one is definitely worth tuning in for!
