American Country Awards: Kristin Chenoweth's 'I Didn't'

We love us some Kristin Chenoweth. She's an amazing singer. But her "I Didn't" on the American Country Awards had us kind of wishing she hadn't. It was just ... kind of awkward and she didn't sound as good as she usually does. We know she can sing - she has demonstrated that all over Broadway, "Glee" and "Pushing Daisies." So what was wrong with this song? It almost sounded too low, to be honest. We could barely hear her on parts.
"I Didn't" is the ninth track off Chenoweth's pop-country album "Some Lessons Learned," which she released back in September. What did you think, country fans? Do you wish that she "didn't"? If you missed it, we'll post video as soon as we have it.
Update: We were informed that K-Chen may be suffering from bronchitis right now. That would explain a lot. We knew she doesn't normally sound like that.
