When 'Extreme Couponing' and 'Jersey Shore' combine...
Question: What happens when you combine the reality show horrors of "Jersey Shore" and "Extreme Couponing"?
Answer: Really awkward catchphrases.
In this preview for tonight's (Nov. 9) episode of TLC's "Extreme Couponing," one single mom takes the sleazy charm of "Jersey Shore's" most memorable acronyms and awkwardly crams them into a couponing context.
"Are you DTS?" asks 33-year-old Nicole. (Down to save, she means.) She then puts her own, clever twist on "T-shirt time" by informing us that it's "Free stuff time!"
Hey, we don't begrudge her saving techniques (if only we had such patience and time to dedicate to bargain-hunting), but we do begrudge her trying to make DTS happen. It's not going to happen.
