'Two and a Half Men': Has CBS changed course on Ashton Kutcher promoting investments?

taahm-logo-kutcher-cbs.jpgIt appears that CBS has may have changed their mind on allowing Ashton Kutcher to plug his business interests during their highly-rated "Two and a Half Men."

On Monday's (Nov. 7) episode of the hit comedy the actor/entrepreneur who plays Internet billionaire Walden Schmidt unveiled a computer that was devoid of corporate logos. This is in stark contrast to just six weeks ago when Kutcher's laptop showed clearly visible logos from Internet firms Flipboard, Foursquare, GroupMe and Hipmunk. Kutcher is an investor in each of these firms.

At the time, CBS explained that displaying these logos was "not part of any advertising transaction with CBS." And for weeks they posted a disclosure of Kutcher's financial stake at the end of their broadcast. But this appears to no longer be the case.

Calls to CBS for comment on this change have not been returned.

We'll update you if anything changes.
