TV ratings: 'NCIS' leads Tuesday again, 'New Girl' steady for FOX

Tuesday's ratings looked a lot like they did a week ago -- CBS was down slightly but still led the night across the board, ABC was up a touch and FOX's lineup was pretty much even. "Glee" and "New Girl" improved slightly in viewers, but the former's adults 18-49 rating slipped a little and the latter's was flat vs. last week.

CBS averaged 15.4 million viewers and a 9.6 rating/15 share in households for the night, leading ABC (10.8 million, 7.2/11) by a fairly wide margin. FOX (6.5 million, 4.1/6) finished third. NBC came in fourth with 5.8 million viewers and a 3.8/6. The CW (1.75 million, 1.1/2) was up a bit from last week.

The Eye also led the adults 18-49 demographic with a 3.2 rating, beating out FOX's 2.9. ABC finished third in the demo with a 2.3. NBC scored a 2.0 and The CW a 0.7.

Tuesday hour by hour:

8 p.m.

CBS: "NCIS" (19.9 million viewers, 12.2/18 households)
ABC: "Last Man Standing" (9 million, 5.8/9)/"Man Up!" (6.3 million, 4.1/6)
FOX: "Glee" (7.1 million, 4.5/7)
NBC: "The Biggest Loser" (6.25 million, 4.0/6)
The CW: "90210" (1.6 million, 1.1/2)

18-49 leader: "NCIS" (4.0)

9 p.m.

CBS: "NCIS: Los Angeles" (15 million, 9.4/14)
ABC: "Dancing With the Stars" results (14.95 million, 9.9/15)
NBC: "The Biggest Loser" (6.15 million, 3.9/6)
FOX: "New Girl" (6.9 million, 4.3/6)/"Raising Hope" (4.8 million, 2.9/4)
The CW: "Ringer" (1.85 million, 1.2/2)

18-49 leader: "New Girl" (3.5)

10 p.m.

CBS: "Unforgettable" (11.2 million, 7.2/12)
ABC: "Body of Proof" (9.8 million, 6.7/11)
NBC: "Parenthood" (5 million, 3.4/5)

18-49 leader: "Unforgettable" (2.4)
