The final performances on "Dancing With the Stars" gave the show some of its best ratings of the season -- but that didn't really carry over to the premiere of ABC's game show "You Deserve It," which lost about half of its "Dancing" lead-in.

Elsewhere Monday, "Terra Nova" was down, but "House" improved some in viewers without "Dancing" competition. CBS' comedies continued their strong run, giving the network a win among adults 18-49.

ABC scored 14 million viewers and a 9.0 rating/14 share in households in primetime, although those numbers may change some as affiliates in Boston and Kansas City aired the "Monday Night Football" game. CBS (11.8 million, 7.2/11) took second overall. FOX (6.9 million, 4.2/6) was off the pace but came in third. NBC took foruth with a little over 4 million viewers and a 2.5/4, while The CW trailed with 1.6 million viewers and a 1.1/2.

CBS drew a 4.0 rating in the 18-49 demographic, leading ABC (2.8) by a pretty comfortable margin. FOX finished third with a 2.3, followed by NBC, 1.2, and The CW, 0.7.
