'Supernatural': Sam and Dean do not hug it out

Last week's "Supernatural" episode saw Sam and Dean splitting up after Sam found out that Dean killed his monster, brain-eater friend Amy. Luckily for the fans, they won't be apart for very long. In this Friday's episode, they totally hug it out.

Just kidding. Everybody knows these guys only hug if someone's just been reincarnated.

They're back on the job together, but that doesn't mean they have to like it. In this new clip from The CW, we see that the Winchesters are still very much at odds with each other.

Okay, yes, we've seen Sam and Dean butt heads plenty of times before. But there's something refreshing about it this time, given that all their cards are on the table. Nobody has a secret demon-blood pusher girlfriend on the side, everybody has a soul, no one is drunk (or drunker than usual, anyway). Most importantly, neither of them is being unreasonable; they're both kind of right.
