'Geek Love' reality show ordered by TLC, because nerds need love too

Geek-Love-promo-screen-cap.jpgGeeks finding each other. Imagine that. TLC, you know this happens all the time, right? It's not hard to find people with similar interests in the time of Facebook, Twitter and the wildly popular Comic Con. Cos-players spy each other from across the room and fall in love. World of Warcraft players meet each other in person and get married. Still, it's nice that you're trying to help.

Nerds are all the rage now and TLC has ordered a new reality show called "Geek Love," which highlights speed dating at scifi events like Comic Con. The service pairs geeks with each other via Ryan Giltch, founder of a service called Sci-Fi Speed Dating.

TLC greenlit two half-hour specials that will air next month. If they do well, we'll get a full season. Check out the promo below and marvel at the Wookie mating call.
