2011 AMAs: Nicki Minaj, David Guetta 'Turn Me On' open the show

Hip-hop star Nicki Minaj opened the show with DJ David Guetta, debuting a new song called "Turn Me On" and then moving into "Where Them Girls At" and "Super Bass." It was a fun performance to open the show and also, in wonderful Nicki fashion, featured the singer wearing a totally crazy outfit.There were speakers on her butt, clocks on her boobs and what looked like aluminum chaps. Excellent. We're glad she didn't have a wardrobe malfunction, as her outfit reminded us more than a little of a futuristic robot version of Janet Jackson's infamous Super Bowl outfit.
Did you like the songs? "Turn Me On" and "Where Them Girls At" are collaborations between Guetta and Minaj from Guetta's fifth studio album, "Nothing But the Best."
Oh, and did you catch Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift rapping along with "Super Bass"? Super cute. Video below.
