'Jersey Shore': Ronnie and Sammi split... again!

Just in time for Thursday's (Oct. 20) season 4 finale, "Jersey Shore's" resident love/hate-birds Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola have split for the umpteenth time.

"We are not together," Ortiz confirmed to Us Weekly on Tuesday.

We would detail the couple's previous splits and reunions, but the Internet doesn't have enough space to document their history of coupling and uncoupling, which we're pretty sure isn't totally written yet.

During season 4, which unfolded in Florence, Italy, Ronnie and Sam got along surprisingly well -- with most of the show's drama centering on Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino's ability to irritate his roommates and Team Meatballs' (Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Deena Nicole Cortese) descent into an alcoholic stupor.

The show's fifth season already wrapped shooting back in Seaside Heights, N.J. and will air early in 2012.
