'Hawaii Five-0': Robert Englund does not like trespassers
"Hawaii Five-0" gets into the Halloween spirit Monday (Oct. 31) with a guest appearance by the original Freddy Krueger, Robert Englund. As you can see in the clip up above, he's not especially happy to meet up with McGarrett and Co.
Englund plays a homeless man named Samuel Lee who guards a traditional Hawaiian burial site. When a couple filming a documentary about the site is murdered, Five-0 brings him in for questioning -- and he puts a curse on Danny (Scott Caan).
The interrogation scene is, to say the least, a little bit tense. McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) and Weston (Lauren German) more or less play good cop, but Danny, who's already a little angry at the suspect, is in no mood to cut Samuel a break.
Maybe Danny will be cheered by the fact that the episode also features a second appearance by Dr. Gabrielle Asano (Autumn Reeser), the scientist he flirted with a couple weeks back.
The episode, "Ka Iwi Kapu" (Sacred Bones), also has some its spooky bona fides behind the camera: It was directed by Joe Dante ("Gremlins," "Masters of Horror"). "Hawaii Five-0" airs at 10 p.m. ET Monday on CBS.
