'Glee': First look at Damian McGinty in his 'Glee Project' prize role
The luck o' the Irish is descending upon McKinley High.
In just a week and a half, "Glee Project" winner Damian McGinty will appear in the first of the seven "Glee" episodes he scored as co-victor of the Oxygen reality show.
Episode 304, appropriately titled "Pot o' Gold," will introduce McGinty's character, an Irish exchange student named Rory who's staying with Brittany and the Pierce family for a while. Just imagine the wacky hijinks that are going to ensue when our favorite dimwitted Cheerio misunderstands Rory's accent! (Seriously, imagine them. This is gonna be hilarious.)
Enjoy another glimpse at Rory -- doesn't look like he's Mr. Popularity at first -- along with some other shots from the episode below. Also, we would like to petition the "Glee" costume designers to outfit Darren Criss in as many sweaters as possible (swoon). Maybe he and Drake could start a sweater club together. Or a sweater rivalry? (Basically, more sweaters, please.)
"Pot O' Gold" airs Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 8 p.m. on Fox. Samuel Larsen, McGinty's "Glee Project" co-winner, will appear on "Glee" later in Season 3.
