'Amanda Knox: The Untold Story' to air on '48 Hours Mystery'

Peter Van Sant has covered the Amanda Knox case from the start, and on Saturday's episode of "48 Hours Mystery," Van Sant will share some of Knox's most harrowing prison experiences from her four years in an Italian jail.

The episode, which airs on CBS at 10 p.m. EST on October 8, includes video diaries from Knox's best friend Madison Paxton. In the videos, Paxton, who moved to Italy so that she could visit Knox daily, details the sexual harassment and sexual intimidation Knox endured while behind bars.

Van Sant's report includes personal correspondence from Knox, including a letter in which she describes a high-ranking prison official who regularly called her into his private office at night and tried to provoke her to talk about sex. Knox believes he was trying to get her to incriminate herself.

The report will also reveal the legal woes that Knox and ex-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito still face now that her conviction has been overturned.
