Zooey Deschanel's 'New Girl' already online: Will you watch before the FOX premiere?
One of the most highly-anticipated new series of the fall season is already here.
Just says after announcing plans to make the Zooey Deschanel comedy "New Girl" available online before the official Tuesday, Sept. 20, premiere, FOX released the pilot episode on iTunes.
Available for free, now through the eve of the premiere, "New Girl" is now the first broadcast network series to screen its debut episode on the Apple outlet before a televised premiere.
It could be a risky move if the network is counting on big ratings in the freshman comedy's post-"Glee" slot at 9:00 p.m. ET -- especially since it will also be available on Hulu, FOX.com and Deschanel's website, HelloGiggles, starting Sept. 13.

i know its not the same as free but b4 heroes came on amc gave u free pass to watch the pilot episode before it aired if u got a movie ticket
Its not just on iTunes anymore, its streaming free on certain sites. The pilot of ABC's "Revenge" also is free.
