Victor Garber in-line to voice Charlie on 'Charlie's Angels'?

victor-garber-tca-2011-getty.jpgVictor Garber just can't stay away from attractive female spies. But then again, can you blame him?

Vulture is reporting that Garber, best known as Sydney Bristow's (Jennifer Garner) father on "Alias," may soon be the faceless voice of Charlie on ABC's "Charlie's Angels."

Robert Wagner lent his dulcet tones as the mysterious Charles Townsend in the pilot, but Wagner split from the production, leaving an awkward silence. That's where Garber may just come in.

The story states that Patrick Stewart ("Star Trek: The Next Generation") and Julian McMahon ("Nip/Tuck") are also being considered for the man on the other end of the line.

Nothing like waiting until the last minute as the series debuts Sept. 22 at 8 p.m. ET.
