'Supernatural' Season 7 pics: Castiel plays God, Sam buckles

62585.jpg"Supernatural" fans, the premiere photos are here! Hey, these Winchester boys may be miserable, but they sure make it look good, don't they? When Season 7 begins on Sept. 23 at 9 p.m., we're yet again going to see a very different Sam (Jared Padalecki) -- he's not drinking blood, and he's got his soul back, but his terrifying memories of hell are blurring his reality.

As always, Dean's (Jensen Ackles) biggest concern is his brother -- oh, and saving the world from the new wrathful God, Castiel (Misha Collins). As Castiel seeks vengeance on the angels who betrayed him during the civil war in Heaven, he believes he's on a righteous path -- but the consequences of his mission could be terrible.

Dean calls on Death (Julian Richings) to stop Castiel -- after all, Death had the power to retrieve Sam's soul when no one else could -- but when plans go awry, Death turns his anger on Dean. Oops.

I think this is probably going to be one of the best seasons ever. I have liked everything I've read about it so far.

Is it possible to talk about this show without mentioning Sam's wall? The story hasn't even started and I'm bored with it already.

That photo of Death eating is beyond precious. I so love that character's relationship with Dean! Especially when Death's mad, and Dean's naughty.

Wow! Another season of poor Sam, what is wrong with him now? How exciting! NOT. When will this show stop focusing on Sam, and start focusing on the other brother, you know, Dean? Remember him? He hasn't had much to do, or a story, since season 4 and now once again the show will e about, what's wrong with Sam version 554. I don't care. I don't care about Sam's wall or Sam's memories. Dean went to hell too, does anyone in the wriing room remember? Gamble does, but she doesn't feel it's as good of a story as Sam's. Of course not, since when has Gamble given Dean any thought? Yeesch, what a boring and terrible season this is going to be. I like Dean and Death, but I'm sure both of them will revolve around the special snowflake Sam, who is suffering so much, but will, no doubt, end up saving the day. What a waste of a good show. Gamble really is an incompetent showrunner.

^^; Is it possible to have one thing, one new, one...anything about SPN without having people whining about everything? about Sera being so awful even when all the big things all end up in Eric's office to get approve, even if Eric agree with all the Sam's story last season

is it possible to read one thing about SPN without seeing a brother fight? You have some extremist Deangirl who only see Sam,s stories everywhere, while extremist Samgirls will only see Dean's stories everywhere. Like the stories who come around for your character or don't like it, but they still EXIST.

We barely know...SQUAT about season 7, beyond the first 2 episodes. All we know about S7 is in those photos and you seriously all jump to conclusion about the whole season? How about taking a deep breath and judging the season AFTER it aired and not before?
