Gordon Ramsay and FOX book rooms in 'Hotel Hell'
Gordon Ramsay, apparently tired of nightmare kitchens, will take on run-down hotels in his next series for FOX.The network has picked up a series called "Hotel Hell" from Ramsay's One Potato Two Potato Inc. It will follow the same template as "Kitchen Nightmares," with Ramsay -- aided by a "team of hospitality experts" -- comes to a struggling hotel, motel or B&B, excoriates the proprietors and eventually shows them the light and gets them to fix up the place.
(The show should not be confused with "Motel Hell," the 1980 slasher-film satire that starred Rory Calhoun.)
"These are stories that everyone can relate to, because virtually all of us have had a bad hotel experience that's turned a holiday or business trip into a total disaster," Ramsay says. "It's time to put the hospitality industry to the test."
There's no premiere date set for the show, which will be Ramsay's fourth with FOX ("Kitchen Nightmares," "Hell's Kitchen" and "Masterchef" are the others).
