FX greenlights animated comedy from 'It's Always Sunny' and 'Archer' producers

FX continues to shore up its comedy offerings that already features hits like the Emmy-nominated "Louie" and "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia." The network announced Thursday (Sept. 15) a 13-episode order for an animated series with the working title "Unsupervised."

The comedy is about two best friends who maneuver through their teenage years with no parental supervision. The show will feature the voices of Kristen Bell, Justin Long and Kaitlin Olson among others.

The 30-minute program will be produced by FX as well as RCG Productions, the team behind "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" and Floyd County, the producers of "Archer."

It's expected to debut in January 2012.
