"A rare, modern Renaissance man, Ben dabbles in a lot of hobbies and crafts, such as crab fishing, sailing, golf, skate boarding, surfing, playing piano and singing in a tribute band. He is also quite handy with a hammer and saw, and loves fixing and building things, as well as landscaping. The woman who will share his life will also have to share one of his other great loves: his Jack Russell Terrier, Scotch."

UGH! should have been Ryan or many of the others. Great guy but doesnt have the look or personality. Its like the male Ashley, borrring
Don't get it. Who at ABC thought this guy would be the least bit interesting to watch? He has zero personality, is immature, has anger issues and is about as exciting and lovable as a plate full of Brussels Sprouts. I would have loved to watch Ames or J.P. - if only someone hadn't already snatched them up! They were the only decent guys on the show.
BEN IS SO BORING!!! I'll probably still watch it, but that doesn't mean I have to like it.
Ames would have been more interesting, though he probably burned bridges after breaking up with Jackie like that.
I hope Gia is the next Bachelorette, but the way the cycle seems to be going, it'll probably be one of the rejected contestants from Ben's upcoming season.
Glad they let me know who the new bachelor will be, so I won't waste my time this upcoming season. This guy is as boring as Ashley.
Ames was the only decent guy that would have made me watch the show again.
