Audrina Patridge's VH1 show dumped after low ratings

Audrina Patridge's days as a reality star are apparently over ... or at least for now.She tells The Daily of her little-watched VH1 series, "We finished in April and I kind of decided I wanted to take some time off from reality."
The network confirmed this, although with a slightly different take, saying, "VH1 will not be picking up 'Audrina' for a second season."
This cancellation shouldn't come as a huge surprise. The April debut of "Audrina" only brought in 791,000 viewers and ratings consistently dropped from there. The season finale delivered a minuscule 530,000 fans.
Patridge has been a reality TV regular since first joining the cast of "The Hills" in 2006. In addition to her self-titled show, she also was on "Dancing with the Stars," making it to the sixth week before getting eliminated.
As for her next steps, she says, "I want to do something more like acting or hosting ... I would love to get dressed up in costumes and talk in an accent and film in another country."

Yeah sure Audrina, the show was cancelled because you needed some time off? NO, it was cancelled because people are finally getting real and tired of making no talents like yourself, millionaires.
she should leave the acting to the professionals
Lady, you simply have no abilities aor talent to be a TV star...concentrate on beginning a family or another career endeavor that is suitable for you. Stop with the BS reason why the show was CXLed.

It's like she thinks acting is some sort of dressup-game.
I'm sick of every hot girl thinking she's an actress. The craft requires a little more than just a pretty face.
Yes, she should definitely go to another country...and stay there.
Hey haters, leave the girl alone. If she would take acting lessons she'd have a good shot on TV soaps. She's definitely stunning enough.
If you want to be taken seriously as an actor, "reality" TV is a career killer - simple as that.
Audrina's show was fairly entertaining. Her family was interesting to watch. EXCEPT Audrina was not on the "Audrina" show! She went through such a drastic reduction before the beginning of 2011 it looked like someone had taken Audrina's head and put it on someone else's body. We weren't seeing the same person we came to know and love on "The Hills." She can do what she wants but it would have been better if she would have waited to go so flat and droopy until after filming the show. Shapeless, no cleavage, no curves, Audrina looks more like a celebrity imposter than the real Audrina. At the very least a little lift and support would have helped. Victoria's Secret was one of the sponsors they should have given Audrina a supply of Miraculous bras. She can sure use them now. What made her dissect herself and totally remove her unique, adorable curves is very curious. And why she thinks some movie producer will rush to hire shapeless Audrina instead of The Hills Audrina is beyond me.
