'Warehouse 13' stays open for a fourth season
"Warehouse 13" is the most-watched original series Syfy has ever had, so it's no surprise that the cable channel would want to keep it around. And it is: Syfy on Friday (Aug. 12) picked up the series for a fourth season."Under executive producer Jack Kenny's leadership, this superlative team of writers, cast, and crew continue to turn out a series that only gets better and better with every episode," says Mark Stern, head of original content for Syfy. "'Warehouse 13' is deservedly the most popular series in our history and we're delighted to renew it for a fourth season."
Through its first five episodes this season, the show is averaging about 3.2 million total viewers (including DVR playback), 1.5 million of whom fall in the adults 18-49 demographic. The show has improved across the board on its numbers from Season 2.
Syfy says the show will return in 2012. A more specific date hasn't been set, but we expect another summer run next year.

Isn't this also one of the few shows they run on a semi-normal schedule, meaning they don't run 6 episodes, then take 18 months off and run 7 episodes more in "part two" of the season?
Don't get me wrong- I think it's a great show. But maybe there other series would be more successful if they, y'know, aired them consistently.
This is really good news. Warehouse 13 is my favorite scripted show that is still on the air.
I just hope SyFy doesn't pull a "Eureka" in a few days and declare that, in fact, Warehouse 13 has been cancelled.
This is a really great show. Keep Lindsay Wagner coming back guest starring and you cannot lose!! Lindsay Rocks!!
Great program but needs to keep the original group chemistry intact. For whatever reason this Jinx guy is there, it sure flows a lot better without him.
Great news. Larry SyFy shows like other cable shows do 12 episodes then it'd off for between 9 months and a year. I like Jinx but I don't think he fits in well with the group. Although I wouldn't mind seeing him have more screen time with Claudia
I'm surprised that they cancel Eureka but keep Warehouse 13. I find Eureka a lot better written and with much more story-line potential. But who can keep up with the flaky reasoning/rational of the Original Program hierarchy?
I liked Warehouse 13 a lot better the first time I saw it...when it was called "Friday the 13th: The Series." At least it wasn't so goofy back then.
