USA renews 'White Collar' for a fourth season
The con is still on at USA.The cable channel has picked up a fourth season of "White Collar" -- which is no surprise given the show's solid ratings. USA hasn't set a premiere date for Season 4, but a summer 2012 return seems like a safe bet.
"'White Collar' has superb storytelling at its core, and breakout stars Matt Bomer and Tim DeKay lead a cast who continue to deliver phenomenal performances," USA co-presidents Jeff Wachtel and Chris McCumber say in a statement. "We're thrilled to offer our viewers another season."
The show's summer run delivered its best ratings ever, averaging 5.7 million viewers (including DVR use) and 2.5 million adults 18-49.
Season 3 of "White Collar" will resume in January with six episodes that will presumably resolve the cliffhanger from the final episode this summer.
