Fans of handsome, well-dressed men, rejoice! USA has picked up freshman legal dramedy "Suits" for a second season.

The 16-episode order comes less than two months after the series' June debut, which brought 6.34 million viewers. It has since dominated the 10:00 p.m. hour on Thursdays, contributing to USA's strongest summer to date.

A show about two lawyers (one real, one impostor), "Suits" stars Patrick J. Adams and Gabriel Macht as both halves of what is quickly becoming one of our favorite TV bromances.

The Season 1 finale of "Suits" airs Thursday, Sept. 8.

Elsewhere on USA, fellow freshman drama "Necessary Roughness" will likely see a second season of its own. Deadline reports the network is close to renewing the series about an NFL psychologist, pointing to solid ratings like the recent 4.46 million.

This show turned out to be a real surprise for me. It is a really great show with some great acting!! Gina Torres ROCKS!!

My husband and I really like this show but we are a bit confused as to how they are going to handle Mike's lack of degree. It's got to come out somehow and then what? How many lawsuits will the firm be subject to? It certainly keeps the show interesting.

To Jen:

I was wondering the same thing, but I am also wondering if he takes the Lsat, which he aces, I wonder if he needs to sit for school to take the Bar exam to pass?. They spin it off that he does actually become a lawyer without going to Harvard, and thus no lawsuits would come about.

YAY! now hurry up USA on renewing Necessary Roughness, White Collar and Covert Affairs and ill be Happy.

This program isn't bad, but it is falling into some predictable and annoying patterns.

Quite frequently, the guy without the law degree has to come up with a last-minute save for the guy with the law degree. So much for Harvard. (The Ivys apparently are rather overrated, no?)

Yet the guy without the law degree--the alleged whizkid--is often so shortsighted that he constantly has to get bailed out by the guy with the degree, after doing dumb things like hanging out with bad influences, nearly getting exposed as a cheat, or flouting the unwritten rules of advancement at the firm.

If the show doesn't escape these traps, it will grow excessively stagnant, exceedingly soon.
