TV ratings: 'America's Got Talent,' NBC hold off CBS Tuesday
Fast National ratings for Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011"America's Got Talent" was down a little from its performance last week, but the show still led NBC to a ratings win Tuesday night, beating out a fairly solid night of repeats on CBS.
NBC drew 8.8 million viewers and a 5.6 rating/9 share in households in primetime. CBS was not far behind with 8.3 million viewers and a 5.7/9. ABC (4.4 million, 2.7/4) came in third. FOX took fourth with 2.4 million viewers and a 1.6/3, while The CW (647,000, 0.5/1) was well off the pace.
In the adults 18-49 demographic, NBC's 2.4 rating was a point better than the 1.4 for ABC and CBS, which tied for second. FOX managed only a 0.8 with its repeat lineup. The CW drew a 0.2.

ABC: "Wipeout" rerun (5.9 million, 3.5/6)
NBC: "It's Worth What?" (4.5 million, 3.0/5)

The CW: "90210" rerun (749,000, 0.6/1)

ABC: "Take the Money and Run" (3.9 million, 2.4/4)
FOX: "Raising Hope" reruns - two episodes (2.2 million, 1.5/2)
The CW: "Shedding for the Wedding" rerun (545,000, 0.4/1)

And yet CW remains on the airwaves with those horrid numbers and Univision actually finished in 2nd place in the 18-49 demographics.

Wipeout was class act last night much better than boring reality on CBS like big brother and stupid NFL on NBC .
