Tony Bennett to honor Amy Winehouse at MTV VMAs; Crooner to air rare footage of the two

Music legend Tony Bennett will take the stage at MTV's Music Video Awards this Sunday (Aug. 28) to honor the late Amy Winehouse.

Bennett will introduce previously unreleased footage from a recording session he and Winehouse took part in earlier this year. The taping took place while Winehouse and Bennett teamed up to sing "Body and Soul" from his forthcoming album "Duets II."

In a statement, Bennett says, "It was a thrill to record with Amy Winehouse ... [she was] one of the most honest musicians I have ever known."

Winehouse died in her London home July 23. A recent toxicology report showed that the troubled singer had no illegal drugs in her system.
