'Toddlers & Tiaras' says goodbye to Eden Wood, 'Glitz Eagle'

Thank heaven for little girls, for little girls get bigger every day...

Though, sadly, that often precludes them from participating in beauty pageants. And while 6-year-old Eden Wood, the undisputed face of TLC's "Toddlers & Tiaras," could likely ride the pageant circuit well into her 20s, she's hanging up her crown.

As originally reported in July, Wood has retired from pageants after winning 300 titles. This means her final appearance on our beloved "Toddlers & Tiaras" will air Wednesday, Aug. 10, during the Season 4 finale.

"I think she's following in the footsteps of some pretty big people who have done pageants, Wood's mother-manager Micki Wood told GMA last month, "like Oprah Winfrey."

But Eden won't be spending her golden years relaxing on some Boca Raton jungle gym. Of course not. She's focusing on her brand, which includes promoting a slew of singles, a doll, a memoir ("From Cradle to Crown") and a line of... canopy beds.

So to celebrate all that she's accomplished -- and all that she's done for the series -- TLC is promoting Eden's last hurrah (the "Rumble in the Jungle" pageant in Louisville, Kentucky) with this retrospective video.
