Awe! Hmmmm, I wonder if it's some of Stefan's diaries? Those seem to be lying all over the place in that house ;) Thanks for another great interview Carina!

I think it will be Something of her mothers... maybe a diary or necklace from like the council or something... or just her necklace stefan gave her.

I mean something that she needs in a sentimental way because now she's lost most of her family.

Don't get too excited because Kevin Williamson has already stated their relationship will be more of a deep friendship in the end and Damon will take one step forward and 3 steps back and Elena won't go for that. And that regardless of what happens, it is not a forever thing and more of a friendship as is in their (KW & JP) minds for now. But this does sound like a sweet gift but sounds like something more that will remind her of Stefan and push her even more towards Stefan even if it makes Elena and Damon have a moment and be closer in their friendship. There is not going to be a long time Damon and Elena and was never intended to be. The story was always about an Elena and Stefan love story and despite troubles, I guarantee you, whether a Stefan fan or Damon fan, they will always write it to have Elena and Stefan end up together after whatever trials their are and Damon will be the brother that keeps doing things to sabotage all. But not sure what is wrong with that. That is why they wanted him and loved him - for his bad boy thing he excels at, with a hint of heart now and then.

@Sarah......erm who died and made you the writer eh? You have a crystal ball looking into future plot lines that we the tvd fans don't know about? Lol seriously get real no way is tvd about stefan/elena love story :/ hahaha stop raining on our parade and get back to your stelana bubble lol. It's all about delena at end of day, most anticapited soon to be couple :).

Err sarah, don't ruin our moment okay, thing is KW said SE might not end up together so I don't see where u are getting that **** from! Also yes Damon and Elena are gonna build a great friendship we weren't expecting them to jump on each other just cuz Steffie no that wouldn't be right! Eventually Elena is gonna be torn between Damon and Stefan and no one knows who she'll choose. All in all I'm glad DE are building a friendship something SE didn't have cuz they jumped in bed 1 week after knowing each other! Epic Fail!! Delena is gonna kick *** next season and you Sarah will be here reading Carina's recaps and saying "I'm team Stelena all the way but DE are growing on me" buahahahahahah just u wait! Bring on season 3
