Ratings: PGA Championship, 'Big Brother' propel CBS to Sunday night win

Fast National ratings for Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011 Between the spillover from the PGA Championship, "60 Minutes" and "Big Brother," CBS won Sunday night easily, averaging 7.3 million viewers, up 700,000 over the previous week. CBS also earned a 4.6 rating/8 share in households.
ABC was second with 5.8 million, 3.5/6, aided by the CMA Music Festival. It was followed by NBC at 3.8 million, 2.4/4 and FOX at 2.6 million, 1.5/3.
In the adults 18-49 demographic, CBS' 1.9 rating was tops. ABC was next at 1.4, then FOX tied for second at 1.2, and NBC trailed with 1.0.

CBS: PGA Championship (9.3 million viewers, 5.9/11 households)
NBC: "Dateline" (6.5 million, 4.1/8)
ABC: "I.AM.First: Science is Rock 'n Roll" (2.7 million, 1.3/3)
