Pauley Perrette and fellow 'NCIS' stars top latest Q ratings
"NCIS" finished the 2010-11 season as the top-rated scripted show on network TV. So when the latest Q ratings of the most popular actors in prime time came out Thursday (August 4), it should have come as little surprise that a cast member or two ranked high on the list. But four out of the top five?!
Pauley Perrette, who plays the Gothy scientist Abby Sciuto on the CBS drama, earned the top spot on the survey. She was followed by her co-stars Cote de Pablo who came in second, Mark Harmon in fourth place and David McCallum in fifth. The only non-NCISer in the top five was Jim Parsons, who plays the slightly-less-than-lovable Sheldon on "The Big Bang Theory."
The New York-based firm Marketing Evaluations conducts Q rating surveys in a variety of industries including entertainment, sports, consumer products and others. The prime time personality survey is conducted twice annually.
The firm believes the popularity measurement is a better indication of viewers fondness for a show versus more traditional methods like television ratings. Networks can then use this to charge for higher ad rates during their programs.
So Pauley just made CBS a whole bunch more money. Let's hope she gets a raise.

Congrats, NCIS! I wish Sean Murray (McGee) would have been among the top ten, too, but, still, great list.
Wow, well, they deserve it. I love their characters. Hopefully McGee will get up there, too, if he gets a few shows that showcase him a little more.
Wow, girl power. Pauley and Cote one and two.
Great show, I'm completely addicted. I must have watched the reruns on USA a million times.
