'Parenthood' Season 3 preview: Braverman on board

Season 3 is almost here, "Parenthood" fans... and it appears that baby is the buzzword. When we last saw Kristina (Monica Potter) and Adam (Peter Krause), they'd just learned that they were expecting another child. Now, several months have passed, and she looks like she's about to pop, while he looks... well, miserable.

Of course, Adam and Kristina aren't the only ones growing the family. Though their pregnancy was an ill-timed surprise (he still doesn't have a job!) his sister Julia (Erika Christensen) and her husband Joel (Sam Jaeger) are looking to adopt another child after learning that she can't have children anymore.

"There's a lot of great storytelling in that subject alone," Jaeger told TVLine earlier this summer. "I don't think it will be easy for them to adopt -- it never is. Plus, I don't know if it's happened too often on TV where we've seen the struggle to adopt, but boy, it's an endless cycle of meetings and paperwork. It will be an issue that adoption is out of Julia's hands," he continues. "She likes to be in control, and this is a situation where there are tens of thousands of families that want to adopt, too."
