MTV VMAs 2011: Kanye West and Jay-Z's 'surprise' performance [Updated]

UPDATED with the full performance video below.It was maybe the worst-kept secret of the 2011 Video Music Awards: Kanye West and Jay-Z took the stage for a "surprise" performance of their song "Otis" early in Sunday's (Aug. 28) show.
Which doesn't mean it was any less fun to watch. Live hip-hop can sometimes be an iffy proposition, but these two guys know how to command a stage as well as anyone, and they did exactly that.
And there actually was one surprise: A fan jumped on stage behind them in the middle of their performance, prompting a quick response from the VMA security team. Neither rapper seemed thrown off by the distraction, though.
