'Life and Times of Tim,' 'Angry Boys' coming to HBO in December

HBO will give fans of "Summer Heights High" an early Christmas present in the form of a new series from its creator, Chris Lilley.

"Angry Boys," a mock documentary about the lives of young men, with Lilley playing all the major characters, will premiere Monday, Dec. 5 on HBO. Two weeks after that, on Dec. 19, the third season of animated series "The Life and Times of Tim" will debut.

The cable channel hasn't set time periods for either show. It also has two comedies, "Bored to Death" and "Enlightened," airing on Monday nights starting Oct. 10; "Bored to Death" will have wrapped its season by the time "Angry Boys" debuts, while "Enlightened" should be finished when "Tim" starts.
