'Law & Order: SVU': First pic of Kelli Giddish and Danny Pino on set

The first picture of new "Law & Order: SVU" detectives Kelli Giddish and Danny Pino is not exactly action-packed -- but that's OK.The image was posted on the show's production blog and shows Giddish's character, Detective Amanda Rollins, and Pino's Detective Nick Amaro in the squad room with Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Capt. Cragen (Dann Florek).
You can also see photos of Pino and Giddish getting their cast photos taken (meta!) on the blog.
"SVU" begins its 13th season -- and first without Chris Meloni -- on NBC Wednesday, Sept. 21.

I love both of those actors and especially glad to see Danny Pino back on television. I will watch for that.
For me, this is the MOST anticipated of the returning shows, and I also love Pino!
Great to have Danny Pino back! Definitely will be watching, although I will miss Chris Meloni!
A great replacement for Mariska Hargitay would have been actress Monica Raymund from the former FOX series "Lie To Me". But the Chase gal might be good too.
Sorry but SVU will not survive without Chris Meloni.
