Jennifer Aniston not heading to 'Days of Our Lives'
Don't expect Jennifer Aniston to pull a James Franco anytime soon.Contrary to reports over the weekend that the "Friends" star was plotting a stint on her father's daytime drama "Days of Our Lives," an NBC spokesperson tells Zap2it that this is not true.
British paper Express claims the 42-year-old actress wants to appear in a few episodes, in an effort to spare dad John Aniston's regular gig from joining other soaps that have recently gone by the wayside. The story poses that she would work for the bare minimum Screen Actors' Guild day rate, playing a "frazzled" wedding planner.
The senior Aniston, who turned 78 in July, has played mobster Victor Kiriakis since 1985.
"Days of Our Lives" has been the lowest-rated soap on U.S. television for some time now, behind ABC's soon-to-end "All My Children" and "One Life to Live" -- both of which have seen ratings boons since they were canceled by the network.

Julia Roberts is a Days fan, maybe she'll lend a hand
Days of Our Lives has been my favorite soap since I was a kid--and that's been a LONG time! I hope it doesn't get cancelled regardless of whether or not Jennifer appears on it.
Oh please no! Keep her out of my TV screen and especially my soaps ...
