Jason Priestley joins 'Bag of Bones' miniseries at A&E
Jason Priestley apparently has an affinity for the work of Stephen King. The former "Beverly Hills, 90210" star has joined the cast of A&E's miniseries "Bag of Bones," based on King's novel, EW reports. His casting comes just a few weeks after he began a run on the Syfy series "Haven," which is based on another of King's books.
"Bag of Bones" stars Pierce Brosnan as a writer mourning the death of his wife who moves to their summer house in Maine and discovers a number of strange occurrences, including his wife's ghost communicating with him. Priestley will play Brosnan's literary agent.
The miniseries, set to air later this year, also stars Annabeth Gish and Melissa George. EW says veteran actor William Schallert ("The Patty Duke Show," "True Blood") has joined the cast.
