Emmys 2011: Who should win outstanding supporting actor and actress in a comedy? Vote now!
Our Emmy polls series continues. This week you can vote on the nominees for best supporting actor and actress in a comedy categories, where the choices are limited if you're not a fan of "Modern Family."We've given you chapter and verse already about how every one of the adult actors on the hit ABC show have gotten nominations this year. Which means that, on the male side of the ledger, four of the six slots are taken by "Family" stars. Eric Stonestreet won it last year, but the award could go to any of his three co-stars, Ty Burrell, Ed O'Neill and Jesse Tyler Ferguson. But not so fast: Chris Colfer had some meaty bullying-related storylines on "Glee" this year and did win a Golden Globe. Jon Cryer has won in this category before, and there may be sympathy for him given the hell Charlie Sheen put Cryer and his "Two and a Half Men" co-stars through this past season.
On the women's side, only two of the six nominees -- Julie Bowen and Sofia Vergara -- are from "Modern Family." Betty White of "Hot In Cleveland" will be tough to beat, and not just because she's the sentimental favorite; her career resurgence is as much about her continuing to do a fantastic job as it is about nostalgia. We can't forget about defending champ and Emmy host Jane Lynch, either; the "Glee" episode she submitted, "Funeral," could take her back to the top. Kristen Wiig of "Saturday Night Live" and Jane Krakowski of "30 Rock" are longshots, but may surprise if the other four women split the vote.
Who do you think will bring home the Emmy? Vote in the poll below. The 63rd annual Primetime Emmys, hosted by Jane Lynch, air live at 8 p.m. ET Sept. 18 on FOX.

Julie Bowen and Nick Offerman
My question is: why everyone on Modern Family is considered a "supporting" actor? Aren't there any leading actors on the show?
Its an ensemble that is why all are supporting nods and I vote for Betty White and Jon Cryer for his hilarious troll monologue on Conan as well. Maybe he won't be overlooked during the Charlie SDheen debacle !!!
Oh please Jon Cryer never got through hell, the feud was between Sheen and Lorre/WB so stop the Charlie bashing, it is boring..
As for emmy i would say Ed O'neil or Ty Burrell and Jane Lynch.
the real issue is the guy who should win sup actor is not nominated: Nick Offerman
and i don't see a clear winner for sup actress; no real standouts. most the women nominated are really leads anyhow. seems like tv has a hard time developing a non female lead that is strong
How did Wiig get on the list?
Chris colfer should definitely win this. He is an outstanding actor and plays and is extremely talented in both comedy and drama. He is an all-round talent.
Chris Colfer deserves the Emmy this year and Ty in second.
Chris Colfer should not win, as his story arc this past season has been mostly dramatic. Jane Lynch should not win either. Her character has been run into the ground this past season, and is no longer funny.
for those saying that Chris was not a comedic actor this season, this is true. However, he is IN a comedy series. It is best supporting actor in a comedy series, not best supporting actor in a comedic role.
