'Bones' brings on 'Boy Meets World' star Ben Savage, no word on Topanga
Ben Savage is heading to "Bones."
In a rare instance of familiar casting not being reported ahead of time, the "Boy Meets World" star broke the news himself, on Twitter.
"First day on the set of Bones," he wrote Wednesday (Aug. 24). "Great show and a very talented cast!"
TVLine has since reported details on who the 30-year-old will be playing.
Apparently Savage comes in as a former shipping store employee suspected of... murder.
"[He's a] murder suspect who is married to another suspect who has bought a lottery ticket with another two suspects," executive producer Stephen Nathan tells TVLine.
For the sanctity of our childhood memories, let's hope it's one of the other three.

Never seen an episode of BONES before in my life...that will all soon change just to see Cory Matthews.
Bones can have any guest star they want, I won't watch anymore. It's not nearly the same show as it was in it's first few seasons. Brennan is a different person (who now apparently loves kids and doesn't always believe in what science tells her) and the episodes are now about the character's problems and messed up lives rather then a murder case. It might as well be a soap opera now.
I'm still kid of scarred that Dylan Bruno, an FBI agent on the late, lamented "NUMB3RS", was the bad guy in last season's premiere.
Lets hope the murder victim was not Shawn or Topanga !!! Of course Mr Feeney would have been smart enough to pull it off and frame his idiot brother Eric !!!
Hey HailyRRR---Glad you stopped watching...now quit complaining and let the fans enjoy the posts and the show.
I couldn't agree more Caitlin, I never watched bones, but I love boy meets world so now I will be watching it
Bones is going in to season 7. On what show that has been on nearly a decade have characters that are the same as they were in season 1? Do you really think that Brennan, having Angela and Booth in her life for as long as the show's run, would stay completely the same?
Please. I loved the part about her that used science to define anything and everything, and I love the part of her NOW that can see all the other colors in the rainbow.
And another thing as far as Brennan loving kids...I don't remember Brennan saying that she loved kids anymore than I can remember her saying that she hated them.
What I do remember is her asking Booth why he would bring a child into the world that they lived in; and wasn't there an episode in S2 or S3 when she bonded with the child of a victim.
In season 4 when she told Booth and Sweets that she wanted a baby, it wasn't because she was baby crazy, it was because she thought that someone with her intellect should procreate and pass that brainpower on to a child, that it would be irresponsible not to.
We get two seasons with barely a peep about Brennan and a baby, and now because she and Booth made love, she unrecognizeable and crazy about babies....I, for one, have enjoyed the ride.
I agree with Alex. Dr. Brennan has changed, softened or grown~whatever over the years and I, too, have enjoyed it. I wonder it Hannah will pop in and put a wrench into things next season. I'd like to see a visit with 'Zach'. He was one of my faves and I was so sad to see Vincent offed. Clark is obnoxious, I would've been much happier to him go than Vincent. Oh, well. I am looking forward to the new season!
Since Haily's baby comment is totally wrong and disproven already, how about some concrete proof that she doesn't always believe in what science tells her. I would like some supporting evidence on this claim as well.
