'Big Brother 13': Shelly or Adam, who goes home?
When we last left our "Big Brother 13" hamsters, Porsche had won Head of Household and CBS had re-instituted the duo twist via Pandora's Box (because by God, they will get Rachel and Jordan to the end if it kills them).Post-Pandora's Box
To her credit, Porsche totally regrets taking Pandora's Box and ruining her four-person alliance for $5000 (and 5K for her partner Kalia). Meanwhile, Rachel and Jordan are naturally ecstatic. Well, Rachel's ecstatic. Jordan is a little slower in jumping on the excitement train.
So Porsche nominates "Rojo," as they are calling themselves (via the live feeds, which it's not too late to sign up for
You know - Rachel and Jordan are both more interesting, less abrasive, smarter and more independent without their men in the house.
Meanwhile, Shelly is feeling pretty sorry for herself because Jordan is not speaking to her after she ousted Jeff. Frankly, I think Jordan needs to relax. That's how it works, blondie. You don't have to be Shelly's BFF, but the silent treatment? Are you 10 years old?
Shelly also needs to stop crying and talking about how her husband and her daughter are her alliance. That makes no sense, Shell. Just own your power move and move on.
Power of Veto Competition
There are super, super creepy dummies hanging in the backyard for each remaining houseguest to hang on for the competition. They are hanging on these dummies that have their former partner's face on them. It's like something out of "Silence of the Lambs." Also, funny how this is a similar competition to the one Rachel won the night they all entered the house.
Adam falls first, after less than five minutes. I know he's a big guy and not in super-great shape, but that's pretty weak. Four minutes?! And then Jordan drops after 8 minutes?! Seriously, that is terrible, y'all.
There is then a small segment about Kalia farting during the competition and she DRs, "I promise I don't pass gas." Really? Ever? 'Cause everybody passes gas, dummy.
Shelly falls after 12 minutes, which is also pretty weak. Meanwhile, Porsche and Kalia are struggling and Rachel is sitting on her dummy like it ain't no thang. Porsche falls at 18:30 and I am shocked Kalia is the next-to-last person standing. Not that she can't do stuff, but some of the people who have dropped before her are in better shape.
Kalia falls at 32 minutes and Rachel wins. Shocking that she would win a competition she already won.
Post-POV Comp
So at this point, Shelly knows it's her head on the chopping block. She goes to Jordan in "non-game" capacity to clear the air and they have a nice come-to-Jesus moment where they apologize to each other. Jordan DRs that she forgives, but she won't forget.
By the way, I do think Jordan is a very sweet girl (way sweeter than Jeff, who gets a very generous edit on this show) and I think she will be really appalled when she finds out about the threats against Shelly's family.
Shelly then starts working on Rachel and Jordan to keep her, swearing that she won't turn against them ever. She's been doing that all week on the live feeds and it seems like Rachel and Jordan are considering it. But that might be just for show.
There's the totally pointless POV ceremony. Obviously, Rachel takes herself and Jordan off and Shelly and Adam go up. So who do you think is going home, BB13 fans?

I also realized how smart Rachel and Jordan are playing the game. If you watch the feeds, you know that they're playing the game well--better than they did with their men. And Andrea, remember, BB did not force Porsche to accept Pandora's Box. Of course, they threw in that "duo" twist to save Rojo (the ratings would tank otherwise). Still, they did not force this twist on the game. Ratings matter most, and viewers want to see Rachel and Jordan get to the end. It pretty cool watching Rachel's popularity increases this season, especially among the live-feeders who get to see how close Rachel and Jordan have become and how nasty Shelly and the other girls treated Rachel. I'm team Rojo (or Jorchel) till the end!
If Shelley does not get voted off the show, I may have to bail out on this season.
2 vets in final 2 would be boring..since one of them wondnt it recently.
hell it should be all stars if they didnt think new players would get ratings..
i think j/j r/b were worse ones to bring back..rach is so annoying.
plus she turned down a reality show on herself offered by cbs..
final 2 should be adam and jor or kalia..rach pissed off most the house..jor/rach final..jordan wins again..its like watching a rerun then..no point!!
"Porsche had won Head of Household and CBS had re-instituted the duo twist via Pandora's Box (because by God, they will get Rachel and Jordan to the end if it kills them)."
So it's CBS fault that Porsche was dumb enough to eff with Pandora's box? Has she not seen the show before? Clearly something bad, that would directly effect her, would happen if he chose to do it - and she felt that 5 g's was enough for her to take the risk. I LOVE reading your recaps on my reality addictions, but you've been super biased this season against the vets. Porsche made her bed, it's time to sleep in it. And while I am totally against homophobic behavior, I don't think Jeff is half as bad as you try and make him out to be. I love Jordan, so I will always route for her. I despise Rachel as a person, but in this house, she is my 2nd favorite. The 'newbies' (with the exception of Dom & Cassie were all horrible. Terrible casting this season, in my opinion - so therefore, without the vets, this season would not have been as enjoyable.
I think without Jordan/Rachel this would be a boring year. Adam has also been entertaining. The problem lies in the game itself. There need to be some changes made to format, And get rid of slop. The idea of have-nots, and depriving them of amenities is a good one, just expand on that. I am totally rooting for Jordan. But I should say I like Rachel a lot more now that Brendan is gone.
I can't imagine watching the Kalia/ Porsche show (w/Shelley or Adam tagging along). It's like the nerd herd all over.
I don't hate Shelley (never did) but i do hope they vote her out.
I love seeing Rachel & Jordan playing without their boyz there to protect them/hide behind. I like Rachel best when she is strong & fights.
They were NOT on board. Kalia & Porsche said if they win veto there would be NO WAY they will change nominations, but they could let Rojo think that in case they don't win it anyway!!
I guess Shelly will be going, but I wish it was Jordan! She's done NOTHING and is such a floater. Plus she's won already, how greedy can she be??? Give someone else a chance! I hope the final three are Porsche/Kalia/Rachel. Jordan/Adam/Shelly are need to go, FLOATERS!!
I really thought in the beginning that Rachel needed to grow up. She was always crying. Well, the clok has turned. Shelley, an older person, that is supposed to have more sense, (ha-ha), is now acting like a 3 year old and crying to get everyone to feel sorry for her. She needs o be voted off tonight. I cannot stand her when she makes her votes and then kisses her 2 cigarette fingers. I do not smake and I think that is sick looking. Good bye Shelley!
I'm not sure due to CBS editing if Shelly spoke to Jordan before or after the POV competition. It seems like she spoke to her after the POV. If Shelly did that before POV competition things may have worked out for her regarding the eviction night. However, she waited until afterwards and although Jordan forgave her, I don't think it will save her from being evicted tonight.
I've been reading a lot that many people don't want Jordan to win because she all ready won. That is unfair. Why can't she win again? She deserves to win the game just like anyone else in the house. If everyone thought that then she would of been evicted so long ago!
Is it just me or has Rachel become more lovable since Branden left?
