"America's Got Talent" has hit a bit of a midseason lull -- it was still Wednesday's top-rated show, but it's now declined for two straight weeks and fell below 10 million viewers for the first time this summer.

NBC also fell out of the top spot in both the overall numbers and the 18-49 demographic for the night. The total viewer crown went to CBS, which averaged 6.85 million viewers and a 4.4 rating/8 share in households. NBC (6.2 million, 3.8/6) finished second, beating out FOX's 5.4 million and 3.4/6. ABC (3.6 million, 2.3/4) took fourth, and The CW trailed with a little under 1 million viewers and a 0.6/1.

No network broke a 2.0 rating in the adults 18-49 demo, but FOX led the way with a 1.9. CBS (1.8) and NBC (1.7) were not far behind. ABC posted a 1.1 and The CW a 0.3.

The "talent" is sub-par, only silhouette and the 11 year old singer (forgot her name) are worth watching-Piers is a bit of a bore, and was a bully to the cowboy, berating and embarrassing him on tv, true his act was boring, but, why embarrass him on tv? The magician last night was much more entertaining than many who remain..If the remaining acts, are any indication of America's talent, then I'm not sure if there is any reason to renew the show...While I like Howie, both he and Sharon seem to share an enjoyment of bizarre oddballs...Maybe it's time to X the judges, and replace them...Now I know why Piers doesn't like Howie's juvenile pranks, he prefers MILF jokes told by Bill Maher on his own CNN show and rants against conservative women...

Another total viewer win for CBS. The other networks wish they could see the day that their repeat shows draws 7 to 10 million viewers per night.

Talent's dropping because the talent this year stinks. Plain and simple.

Reality is just hurting NBC instead of helping them as they have too much of it going on now. They can't keep depending on this format forever.

CBS viewers are just too old and stupid to spot reruns .. Nice to see Sylvester act professional for once. Ever since he came out, he has been a better person :)

I agree with earlier post-seems like many of them gave their best in earlier rounds and their tanks are dry... but the biggest problem apart from Piers is that of those inept producers who are helping to destroy the acts with the unnecessary dancers in the background and ill conceived wardrobe changes. You can tell that the performers are clearly rattled.

Preta, totally agree about Piers. Sooner or later he will realize that his elitist attitude will only go so far in this country and then people will go on a hate fest on him. I am amazed AGT has not had to heavy edits to take out some of the booing directed on him.
