'Sons of Anarchy' gets 90-minute premiere, plus more FX fall dates

soa-season-4-premiere.jpgFX is going big with the Season 4 premiere of "Sons of Anarchy."

The show will return at 10 p.m. ET Tuesday, Sept. 6, with a 90-minute premiere that has SAMCRO returning to Charming, getting back into business and dealing with a new law-enforcement regime in the town. Jax (Charlie Hunnam) also has to adjust to being both the leader of the club and a new father.

"Sons of Anarchy" is one of four series FX will have on the air in the fall, along with a special limited engagement for "Archer" before it begins its third full season next year. The other FX premiere dates are:

"It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," which kicks off its seventh season at 10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15. "Archer" will kick off at 10:30 that night for a three-week tease. New episodes will also air Sept. 22 and 29, but the full season won't begin until early 2012.

The newly picked up "American Horror Story," starring Dylan McDermott and Connie Britton, will air at 10 p.m. Wednesdays starting Oct. 5.

Finally, "The League" will begin its third season on at 10:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6.
