'Psych' spoofs 'The Bachelorette,' celebrates the '80s

psych-james-roday-dule-hill-polar-bear.jpgThe days are long, the mercury is high and Fridays aren't even remotely productive -- yet somehow it just doesn't feel like summer.

That might have something to do with the fact that our usually-scheduled season of "Psych" won't hit the tube until October. But not all is lost. There is some fun to be had on the Season 6 front.

First up, TVLine reports that we can expect a "Bachelorette" spoof in an upcoming episode, with Greg Grunberg ("Heroes") and Lindsay Sloane ("Grosse Pointe" anyone?) playing a controlling producer and the dating show's single lady, respectively.

The spoofed series, "Missed Connections," calls in Shawn (James Roday) and Gus (Dulé Hill) when one of the male suitors is attacked -- no word on whether or not the victim will be played by "Real World" alum and WWE star Mike "The Miz" Mizanin, who'll also appear.

A few more details on the upcoming "Psych" run came out at the series' Comic-Con panel in San Diego last week, though none of them were quite as important as the cast's music video cover of Simple Minds' "Don't You (Forget About Me)," included below for your viewing pleasure...
