'Pretty Little Liars' Aria's love triangle battle: Ezra vs. Jason
Anyone else notice the overabundance of love interests on "Pretty Little Liars" lately? Hey, we're not complaining, just making an observation.Zap2it decided to take a closer look at all of the love triangles in a "PLL" love triangle battle to the death (not really) match. First up? Aria (Lucy Hale) who is currently dating her former teacher Ezra but has recently connected with Alison's older brother Jason.
Let's see how Ezra and Jason stake up against each other, shall we? Let's battle!
Ezra Fitz (Ian Harding)Pros: Extremely attractive, smart, has a job, published author, bachelor pad is relatively neat, wrote Aria a poem, excellent parking lot kisser, sharp dresser, tendency to rent limos on date night
Cons: Her former teacher, hugophobia (fear of hugs), works with former fiance, can't commit to one hairstyle, likes vests better than Aria, scared of her parents
Advantage: They're already dating and they have a lot in common (love literature, taking pictures with bags on their heads, etc.).
Disadvantage: Works with his former fiance Jackie and still has a picture of them on his computer. Does he still have feelings for her? Hale tells us, "Aria knows that Ezra really cared about her. It causes a lot of friction for Aria and Ezra." Ruh-roh. (Rebuttal: He told Aria he loves her.)
Key scene: Hands down, the kiss in the school parking lot. Who cares if anyone could have seen them?! It was that hot.
What executive producer Marlene King says: "They're soulmates, they're meant to be together," King once said of Ezria. Pretty hard to compete with that, no?
Jason DiLaurentis (Drew Van Acker)Pros: Hot, does manly things like play basketball and build fences, likes pink hair, doesn't have to spray-paint his abs on, has nice hair, forced Toby to work shirtless (OK, not really)
Cons: Thinks he may have murdered his sister, doesn't seem to have a job, wears shirts too much, doesn't like her friends, former drug lover, tendency to black out and possibly murder people while intoxicated, questionable taste in friends (Hi Ian!)
Advantage: ABS! Oh, he also remembers the old Aria.
Disadvantage: He can be really, really, really creepy and her friends don't like (or trust) him. (Rebuttal: Toby started out the same way.)
Key scene: None of his scenes can compete with the parking lot kiss (come on now!) but his shirtless basketball scene definitely caught our attention... and Aria's.
What Hale says: Before it was revealed Jason would be Aria's new love interest, Lucy said the new guy "brings a whole new element to Aria's storyline and the guys are completely opposite, but both great. It shows a different side of Aria and that's why I really like the storyline." She adds, "It's very interesting because I think it makes her realize how much she really is risking by being with Ezra."

Okay, I'm not gay, but I gotta weigh in here. Did you see the "most awkward conversation ever" this week? Jason just standing at the door, completely clueless as to when he was suppose to say bye? He just stood there staring. Waaaaayyy too creepy. Ezra The Wiener for the win...
Jason's not even competition for Ezra!! Ezra is superior in this situation..Aria would be nuts to choose Jason over Ezra
jason he knows her in more ways and just comes out in front of people and talks to her and those abs and that sweetness
Why is this even a question? Obviously Ezra is better for Aria. Just look at the pros and cons. Ezra's pros are way better and Jason's cons are way worse. Jason may know about her past, but Ezra is her future.
Jason is the most awkward character. When he was telling her he liked her pink hair I felt like fast forwarding that part. It was so awkward and painful. I think they need someone to create some friction for Ezra and Aria but they really REALLY need to end up together.
Is this even a legitimate question? Ezra Fitz, hands down. Like Marlene said, they're meant to be together! Hopefully Jason is just used (in this story line. I'd like him to stick around and be significant in other ways... especially ones that don't require shirts.) as a plot device to force Ezra to realize just how much he loves Aria, and gets him to fight for her. :)
Hands down Ezra. they are so amazing together! like seriously its one of the main reasons i watch this show.
Are you crazy?! Ezra and Aria are meant to be! Look at the lists. You can tell why they are perfect! If they werent meant to be Aria wouldnt have stayed with Ezra after she realized how hard it was to be with him because he was her teacher and they have had so many set backs that they get through together- you know they will make it through anything! Jason is sketchy and who knows, its possible he DID kill Alison! Aria should stay FAR away from him and stick to her sexy ex-teacher!
Obviously Ezra. Jason is Ali's brother, and if they dated, well let's just say that bad things will probably happen to Aria. Cough cough, A will probably do something to her. Ezra is a better match, despite the fact that he was her teacher when he taught for her high school. Ezra seems more of a safer choice, and plus Aria would be crazy to go for Jason after all that she and Ezra have been through together.
Ok I just have 2 disagree w/ everyone sure Ezra is good but he accepts the Aria he has now who knows if he would have liked her in the past Jason on the other hand accepts the old Aria and the Aria now also Aria and Jason have a lot less complications than Ezra and Aria do. Therefore, Aria and Jason should be together.
