Odette Annable to join 'House' as series regular
So long, Amber Tamblyn and Olivia Wilde. Hello, Odette Annable. The "Brothers & Sisters" and "Breaking In" actress is set to join "House" as a series regular, Deadline reports.
Annable will reportedly play someone House meets in prison when the FOX medical drama returns for its eighth season. The "Cloverfield" star isn't a jailbird though, she's a doctor at the prison whom House soon recruits to be a member of his team at Princeton-Plainsboro. Oh, the benefits of imprisonment.
Annable's role is just the first of two major new characters "House' will be introducing in Season 8. The show is still searching for its new Dean of Medicine after Lisa Edelstein's exit. Annable is set to fill the void in House's team left by Tamblyn and Wilde (who will be returning for a limited number of episodes).
Annable's new gig doesn't mean the death of FOX's "Breaking In." Her deal allows time for her to film the comedy should it be picked up for a second season (Our fingers are crossed!)
What do you think of House's new recruit, Zappers?

I feel the same way in regards to Breaking In. When I saw the headline on Facebook on this story, I was like "Is this it for Breaking In". Glad that there is still a chance that show comes back. Come on Fox... get it together and bring back "Breaking In".
I really enjoyed Breaking In. I hope it comes back!
They should have brought back Cameron. This show has lost the ability to create interesting new characters.
"Cameron" is the star of ABC's new Fairy Tale show.
Cameron is better
Bring Breaking In back!
If they wanted House to recruit a prison doctor, why not bring in Sarah Wayne Callies to reprise her role as Dr. Sara Tancredi? ;)
