Molly Parker joins NBC's 'The Firm'

Molly Parker, who played refined addict Alma Garret on HBO's far-too-shortlived "Deadwood," will join Josh Lucas in the cast of NBC's "The Firm."Parker will play Abby McDeere, wife of lawyer Mitchell McDeere (Lucas) -- an attorney who 10 years ago (in TV land time) brought down a Memphis law firm that turned out to be a front for the mob.
The couple has since relocated to Washington, D.C. to start over. Along for the ride, Juliette Lewis as Lucas's secretary and Callum Keith Rennie as his former jailbird brother.
Production for the show, based on the John Grisham book and 1993 Tom Cruise movie, begins in August.
