'Glee's' Jane Lynch on the graduating cast: 'It's kind of cool'

jane-lynch-glee-grads.jpgCount Jane Lynch among the fans of "Glee's" stab at realistic continuity when it says goodbye to several cast members at the end of the 2011-12 season.

Lynch tells "Access Hollywood Live" she's on board with the decision to have Rachel (Lea Michele), Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Finn (Cory Monteith) graduate from McKinley High School this year. The word came from "Glee" co-creator Ryan Murphy earlier in the week.

"[Murphy] rarely makes bad calls," Lynch said in a phone interview on "Live". "But I think it's kind of cool that they will graduate. And I also think it's kind of cool that the teachers get to stay."

Lynch earned her second straight Emmy nomination Thursday for playing Sue Sylvester on "Glee," and she's also hosting the awards this year. She says she's working with writers on crafting the show and promises "we'll have some singing, we'll have some dancing."

I still like Thia Megia to be added as a regular in Glee. Really fit for what Ryan Murphy is looking for: A younger Adele-sounding full of soul voice.

I'm not sure FOX will agree...

New blood can be good.

Jack Vidgen from Australia's got Talent--14yo phenom. Never happen, but...

Of course she's happy, she still has a job!

Going to miss them greatly, but am okay with the decision. But, seems that Puck should be leaving, too. If he and Finn are best friends, they are probably in the same grade.

I'm not entirely against the idea, but I'm not entirely thrilled by it either. I'm going to miss Kurt immensely.

Actually, I figured Puck, Quinn, Brittany, Santana, Tina and Artie were all the same grade level as Rachel, Finn and Kurt. But I guess they can't dump the WHOLE cast at once...

i know of one bad call... he said that there will be no guest stars. ..and here we are

Based on the NYC finale, it seems pretty obvious that Murphy is going to try to spin off Kurt, Rachel & Puck as New York college students auditioning for broadway shows on their down time.
