'Glee' exodus: Lea Michele, Chris Colfer, Cory Monteith leaving after Season 3 -- for good
Hold onto your butts, Finchel fans. You only have one season left to watch your favorite "Glee" romance play out. On the heels of saying that the current roster of McKinley students would graduate at the end of Season 3, THR reports co-creator Ryan Murphy has confirmed three cast members definitely on their way out.
Lea Michele (Rachel), Chris Colfer (Kurt) and Cory Monteith (Finn) are among those officially exiting, and, according to Murphy, they're "not going to be back at all for Season 4."
"You can keep them on the show for six years and people will criticize you for not being realistic," he tells THR, "or you can be really true to life and say when they started the show they were very clearly sophomores and they should graduate at the end of their senior year."
As for who else is going with them -- and who of the current class might be staying -- apparently all will be revealed Sept. 20 at the start of (some) of the characters' final season.
Already mourning the loss of the original three? Hoping anyone in particular will be spared the collegiate guillotine and return for Season 4 with Mr. Schue (Matthew Morrison) and Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch)? Sound off in the comments.

YES, 2 of the 3 I can't stand. It'll be weird without Kurt, but I'll get past it. But I cant' stand Finn and Rachel so its ok for them to leave.
Hey i dont care.
If PUCK doesn't leave, then this is total joke. Dude looks like he should be a teacher; the looks the oldest of ANY of the students.
this statement cracks me up
"You can keep them on the show for six years and people will criticize you for not being realistic,"
Has Ryan ever been in a school lately, If he thinks this show is realistic!! Sue would be throw in jail , sued by every student and parent for abuse , Well at least the 1st season was good and the music still rocks - we will see how S3 goes
As long as Matt Morrison is on there I'll tune in. They BEST give me some WEmma!!
Why not split the senior year into 2 seasons? The show isn't presented in real time and certainly can't be accused of being "realistic"
Yes! One more season and I can stop watching Ryan Murphy and his crap writing!
It will be sad and weird not having them, but I think it's ok.Otherways,it would be like those shows where everything change a lot and it lose the sense.I prefer this
LOVE GLEE!
Rumour is Chris and Lea will be featured in a spinoff set in New York. If this turns out to be true, I hope they take Naya and Heather with them. That way I can dump Glee for good.
I like how they assume there will be a season 4.
