'Dexter' Season 6 trailer: Personal Jesus
"Dexter" released a new Season 6 trailer at Comic Con Thursday (July 21) and it has us even more excited than the first teaser trailer released last month. This one has so many exciting clips from the upcoming season, accompanied by the Marilyn Manson version of Depeche Mode's 1989 hit "Personal Jesus."
It's a fitting song to accompany the clip, as the Season 6 is religion. Edward James Olmos and Mos Def both guest star as religious figures of sorts, and guest star Brea Grant tells Zap2it, "This season has a lot of religious elements in it. That's sort of exciting to see all that play out."
Getting excited, "Dexter" fans? The show also announced its release date - Season 6 premieres Sunday, Oct. 2 at 9 p.m. ET on Showtime.

I just got a semi...
So pumped.
I like how you don't even mention Colin Hanks, he's awesome!
This show hasn't been canceled yet? Ugh. I lost all interest after they killed off Lundy and made Rita into such an annoying whiner.
Reach out and touch Faith. Still the most suspenseful crime drama on television.
Hey, seriously?, you obviously know the show was not cancelled. If you lost interest in season 4 then why chime in with comments for a season 6 preview? Move on. Some of us still think this is one of the best series on TV.
@Seriously? Yeah, I hate when shows kill off characters. It's more better if they maintain the status quo for 10 seasons and don't throw any surprises/shocks at us. That would be much more exciting.
Please never get into the entertainment business.
I'm looking forward to Edward James Olmos
