'Big Brother 13' update: The power couples approach a new pair

The "Big Brother 13" house scheming is on in full force. What have the power couples done now that Evel Dick is gone? SPOILER ALERT.So Jeff/Jordan and Rachel/Brendon realized once Evel Dick was gone that they had to get another pair with them to have the numbers in the house. They quickly decided on Cassi and Shelly, which is my favorite newbie pair in the house and definitely the best choice for smart and trustworthy allies.
Sunday morning (July 10), Brendon and Rachel had Shelly and Cassi up to the HOH bedroom and lay it out for them and Cassi and Shelly seem on board. Now, obviously Cassi and Shelly should say yes even if they don't mean it, but I think this is a smart move for them. Jeff/Jordan and Brendon/Rachel are a formidable alliance because they're good at challenges and the newbies are kind of sucky, after Cassi, Shelly and maybe Dominic or Kalia. Brenchel also inform Cassi and Shelly that Daniele is also a part of the alliance.
Brendon also informs Cassi and Shelly that if one of them wins HOH, they can't put up either of the couples. So if Cassi and Shelly are smart, they will throw HOH from here until they're the only people left, because if they win and DON'T put up the oldies, it will be uber-suspicious.
UPDATE: Shelly and Cassi head to the kitchen and talk about it a little. Shelly has the presence of mind to tell Cassi they have to throw the HOHs or they are screwed.
I said the first night of the show airing that I hoped this didn't turn into the "Big Brother" version of The Boston Rob Show we just watched on "Survivor," but I do think it would be kinda fun to watch Brendon/Rachel, Jeff/Jordan and Cassi/Shelly align and rule the house, then have to fight it out at the end.

Sorry, but anything that involves keeping that bashee Rachel in the house does not get my approval. She is the most obnoxious houseguest of all time. I'm going to give it a few weeks to see if they get her out. Otherwise, I may have to skip my favorite guilty pleasure of the summer.
I agree with you even though I dislike Rachel.
I would like to see them battle it out in the end.
Cassie and Shelly are the only newbies I really like anyway.
Brendon and Rachel all the way! Jeff and Jordan are great for the alliance and amazing competitors, but Jordan already won. Daniele is good to have, but she's already won BB too. Brendon and Rachel are some of the best competitors BB has ever seen, it's only right they make it to the end, and not get screwed over like last season. Plus, they make for great TV. I agree with Cassi and Shelly in the alliance, as the newbies paired off I instantly thought their pairing seemed the best and most rational. Each newbie pairing has some "crazy" who will shoot themself in the foot, taking their partner down with them.
Of course that means that Jeff or Jordan has to win HOH this week or the alliance it in trouble.
Danielle can't compete because of the golden key
Rachel and Brendan are benched this week.
And Cassi & Shelly don't want the heat.
I hope Jeff & Jordan can pull it off...
Gosh A season season of Rachael , She might be a great competitor but i just have to Mute her when she talks and gosh when she laughs ,
all of the other oldies i really like and the newbies not the best cast - the kid Dominic is OK and agree with others Cassie and Shelly are the best of the bunch

@Rachel....Daniele did not win BB. She came in 2nd to her dad.
ugh, I'm sick of shows like this. I like the type of TV that has heart like ABC's Extreme Makeover Weight Loss Edition on Monday nights at 10pm/9c. I can not wait for this weeks very special episode with Wally a compulsive eater. Super trainer Chris Powell has has work cut out for him! Seriously, I highly recommend this show!!
I like it...Anything to get Jeff and Jordan to the end, works for me. I can't Danielle, or Rachel, actually, but if they can help my favs stay in there, then it'll be good... It'd be cool to see Jeff and Jordan and Cassi and Shelly (and even Brendon) beat out Danielle and Rachel.
Ooooooh!!! Good idea!!! Cassi/Shelly are my favorite new player duo. Now Jeff/Jordan Danielle, and Cassi/Shelly should "gang up" and get rid of "Brenchel"!!! That will make my day. :D
