'Beavis and Butt-head': Preview the idiots' return to MTV

Not much has changed since we last saw "Beavis and Butt-head" on television: They still wear Metallica and AC/DC T-shirts, they still punctuate pretty much every sentence with giggles and they're still really, really dumb.

Oh, but they do watch "Jersey Shore" now.  

MTV unveiled about five minutes of footage from "Beavis and Butt-head's" return at Comic-Con, and if you remember the original -- which means you've probably since aged out of MTV's core demo -- you'll note than other than "Jersey Shore" replacing NKOTB videos, it all feels very familiar. But that also feels kind of like the point: MTV programming may change, but teenage idiocy is eternal.

The show is set to premiere in October. Here's the Comic-Con footage, which includes the return of The Great Cornholio and a couple wickedly funny shots at Snooki and Co.:
